Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 pm Monday at the Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 Kennedy Road where there will be a parish wake service at 7 pm. He is survived by three children, Kathy (Dennis) Klein of Dubuque, Steven Glew of Dubuque and Scott (Christina) Glew of Three Forks, Montana; five grandchildren, Tim Palmer, Cindy (Eric) Nierling, and Sam, Adam, and Edith Glew, all of Dubuque; two great grandsons, Clay and Dakota Nierling; three brothers, Gary, Bruce and Mike Glew.He is also preceded in death by a brother, Everett "Sonny" Glew and a sister, Gloria "Sis" Fox.
He served Honorably and finished his active duty service February 1967, and receiving a Letter of Commendation US Army.

Military Honors will be accorded by the Dubuque Marine Corps League. Willard was born June 8, 1925 in Osterdock, the son of Elmer and Elizabeth (Hinrichs) Morarend. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; his twin brother Wilbert; and two sisters, Wilma Pins and Eunice Marting. The family would like to thank the staff at Guttenberg Care Center; Guttenberg Municipal Hospital; North Crest Specialty Care; and Cedar Valley Hospice.
